Doug knew about God, and knew God at an early age, but took some 40 years for Dr. Smith to accept the calling on his life. Today, Doug is a minister at Gethsemane Worship Center in Topeka, KS. He teaches the Senior High Sunday School class, leads the Men's Ministry, Justice Ministry, and Outreach Ministry at his church, Gethsemane Worship Center of Topeka, KS.
Doug completed a Ph.D. in applied management and decision sciences, with a concentration in information systems and knowledge management at Walden University. He earned master’s degrees in business administration and in project management from Keller Graduate School of Management, and a bachelor of general studies in business administration, computer science, and liberal arts from the University of Michigan. Over the last several years, Doug has turned his talents to teaching others. He has taught technology and business courses including project management for a number of institutions of higher learning. He also has a number of other pursuits, such as a number of active entrepreneurial ventures, social justice activities, and community engagement.

Regina Diane Jemison is a bi-vocational Christian Minister of the Gospel of Jesus Christ and State of Michigan licensed attorney. In her life, law practice and spiritual care of people, Rev. Jemison is a tireless advocate, drum major for justice, anointed preacher and intimate intercessory prayer warrior. She is always at work studying and putting into practice new and distinct ways to serve people fervently in doing what God says, with a grateful heart and joyful obedience. She believes the gospel has the ability to empower and guide people in living lives that honor God. She preaches and teaches hope, redemption, and the spirit of forgiveness with practical application that translates into love for all. She is a compassionate and skilled companion to people in need, certified life coach, and counselor of those in crisis.
She was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan and educated in the Detroit Public School System. She obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Michigan, a Juris Doctorate from Wayne State University Law School and a Master of Divinity from Ecumenical Theological Seminary of Detroit. She has researched, practiced and taught legal instruction, personal transformational development and other disciplines since 1993 at various educational levels and post-secondary degree programs at the following institutions: Detroit Police Academy, University of Detroit Mercy, Spring Arbor University, Landmark Worldwide Inc., and William Tyndale College.
